Down and out for the count.Eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf, sechs, sieben, acht, neun, aus...Well, firstly - Happy Chinese New Year to everyone =)
It's about time for a new beginning, and what better time to start afresh than today?
More specifically, this precise moment is the point of change around which everything rotates... one day it's just another normal day at home.. and the next I start making my way to uni.
I'm looking at a 'refreshed' blog for which I shall need to make a design for... Until then, I guess that's all from me for now, I guess.. watch this space for updates?
My blogger blog shall just be moved somewhere.. and I'll host a second one, here. As for my xanga which mirrors my posts... it'll get a revamp I guess. Thanks to everyone for dropping by either blog, I'll be back in action soon enough =)

Continuing on...Now listening to: Muse - SUNBURN.Thursday - Feb 15thWent to Parra, bummed, bought Optus Prepaid Sim. Bumped into Robert there after I went and ate.. was hoping to meet others there.. oh well. =
I went back to baulko, said hi to a few pplz, then went to fix up my equipment returns for cadets and sign out my forms etc... then back to Parra I go.
A little more bumming, then I run out of things to do and make my way home, seeing Downie along the way.
Used up the remainder of my vodafone credit, and spent the rest of the night further planning and informing everyone of beach plans.
Friday - Feb 16thStayed home, people came over, ate, I got my optus sim activated (transferred my number over, so it's still the same as before - saves everyone else the trouble of re-adding me etc). Then I went to carlo court to go buy foods for sandwiches. And come back home, prepare stuffs, visit grandma's house..
Saturday - Feb 17thBEACH!Looks like all that planning paid off; we weren't going to let trackwork screw us over =P
- Woke at 6am
- Made my way to Davy's house, getting there at 7am
- Pro-sandwich-making-production-line set up. Thanks to davy's parents we did everything in 20 mins.
- Walked to Toongabbie station, caught train.
- Arrived at Parra at 8.15, Wan came shortly after, Leane arrived also, then Ying came (eventually! =P).
- Express bus to Strath.
- Waited for 9.45 train.
- Got to Central at 10am. I realise we did say we'd get there by like 9.. but trackwork messed that up. No matter, we all got there in the end...
- We take a bus to Coogee, get there at 11am, then set up everything.. and dive in!
- (Note to self: apply sunscreen more thoroughly. Still listening to Muse - Sunburn. It's rather painful.)
- Lots of fun follows, getting pwnt by waves, trying to bodysurf (but getting caught up in seaweed), ate sandwiches, ate watermelon, played a little bit of soccer before being told off.. eating jelly and frozen grapes (thanks dot and gladys!)
- Aside from the sunburn, everything worked out in the end I think... I guess we've learnt from the day and can improve upon some things at the next beach outing.
- Shoutouts to Leane, Davy, and Dot for organising/planning the day with me, and out to those who came - Wan, Ying, Ray, Joo, Chong, Johnny, Supun, Dilsh, Mits, Kati, Gladys, Eric, Noah!
- Bus trip back to central, half of us got on a bus then the driver closed the door; evidently he was already 5 mins late and wanted to hurry up. SO - he drives to the next stop, lets everyone on for FREE, and drives off. Then part way, we swap bus drivers? Like the bus just stops in some random street and some other bus driver hops in? Anyhow we find out that everyone else caught the express, and we all get to central around the same time.
- Then a quick train back to Strathfield with Ying, Leane, Davy and Wan, Express bus back home to Parra, and then Ying and Davy go to catch train... Wan goes to take a bus, and Leane waits for a train.. so I wait too. And so we go looking for some food, I end up getting a mini cheesecake thing... should've taken a pic of it ><
- Train comes eventually, so I make my way over to bus stop and wait for my bus... thankfully the previous bus was 10 mins late so I catch that and get home by 6.30, go take a shower and then go to Grandma's house for dinner.
- Afterwards, CNYE dinner, and then prepare stuff for the next day...
So
Photo Recap now, I didn't go take many pics... so links to other people's albums instead.

DAI LO's/Yingeh's:That's all for now, shall occasionally edit to include more pic links.. but otherwise,

[ Post Eight ]
February 14th. S.A.D.Such an important day that it deserves it's own post. My day consists of this, from 0000 hours to midnight.
- Slept at around 3.30am.
- Woke at around midday.
- Home alone already.
- Listened through most of my Interpol/Rammstein cds. Rather depressing given the day.
- Made myself a random lunch of chicken wing thingys, grilled bread with cheese, and potato gems. Tasty, but again who to share it with?
- Then I went to build my latest electronics project, a 'Vader Voice' kit. Pretty trippy.
- I rushed off to work, had a whole lot of paperwork to sign to do a traineeship for a Certificate II in Retail Operations, but as it turns out there is no Certificate I, so I'm getting gipped and can't really be bothered staying for 30 months working on weekends between my other job just to get a certificate, by which after another 30 months I'll hopefully have a BE/BSc anyway. But well, I shall see.
- Started work at 6, it was, unfortunately for me, a nice day outside, so really busy in the store and we finished over half an hour late, past 10pm, even with the store owner come in and help briefly (we don't get paid for any work we do after 9.30)
- Came home to just sit and bum on the comp again, another late night on msn.
Fun.

...Black Box Thinking.
Hmmm, interesting past few days.
Monday - 12th January FebruaryWent out early in the morning to Carlingford Court and Carlingford Village to go grocery shopping... and get a haircut from asians. It's dodge, they cut it considerably shorter than before.. Anyhow ah well, I'll live.
Afterwards, bumming at home waiting for work, then work from 5 till 9.25. OMG 5 Minutes early! Due to direct relationship between the number of customers and the weather.. ah well it was interesting, we had plenty of time to literally just sit and chat.
Then home, and randomly deciding at 1am upon what to do today..
Tuesday - 13th January FebruaryWoke up, vacuumed the place, family friend came over, had lunch, then I run off to Parra... I get dropped off at Jaycar and get a heavy duty switch and UB5 case. More on that later. I walk all the way back to main parra area, getting two $2 guitar leads on my way back... and end up at Max Brenner just before 2pm, half an hour late but there nonetheless to meet Leane and Michael. So we went Max Brenner (Second time? within a week?), this time around we stuck to what we knew was good, the cookieshake =)
Afterwards, bumming at parra, I went off to get a cookie, and a milkshake, meeting indika along the way... and others. Then at 4, we went off to our movie session of
Stranger Than Fiction. I <s the overlayed HUD-style graphics in the opening scenes, it's pretty awesome, and has given me a bit more inspiration in the world of web-dev and graphics. As for the movie, it was pretty great, it was interesting and conveyed its moral-to-the-story well... HOWEVER - No happy ending for the Dave guy. =( x10
Anyhows, so I buy The Killers - Hot Fuss on my way home, then gets home and eats a little. Then I proceed with making my footswitch. Pretty simple really, I'll spare everyone the details (
and secrets =P), so here's a quick snap of it:

I basically just plug it into my tremolo unit and then can use it to turn it on and off, rather than grow a third arm to switch it whilst playing the guitar. Cool.
Probably the important bit is, it's considerably cheaper to make myself than to buy a commercial foot pedal, which is essentially the same thing, just in a nicer case - $20 for this one from Allans Music:

Oh. And it's considerably smaller than pictured there. 3cm high =). Perfect for a footswitch.
That's about it for today, just a few dollars credit left...
HF TC all, GG tomorrow.

6th Post of 2007. Nearly there.Hmm. Story of my life (continued).
8th - Thursday - a much needed day out... for all of us.
- Went to Parra early, at 10ish - Led Julia and her group over to Billy Hyde Music in Parra, looked at bass guitars and I went and tried out all the effects pedals there.
- Went back to westfield, met with Leane and Sarah for lunch. Then Ying came so we went to watch a movie - Deja Vu
- Movie was pretty awesome, a little confusing at first for me to get my head around the plot... but it was great. I like movies with deep/complex plots, where everything makes sense at the end, when it was all there infront of you in the first place...
- Afterwards, went to Max Brenner, tried the toffee shake, tasty =) but the cookie one is better in our collective opionions...
- After Max Brenner, bumming at parra (visited parra library too =P), pplz leaving one by one..
- So eventually I'm on my own again (back to square one), went over to Games Workshop, bummed there for an hour, considerably longer than my "hi, latest white dwarf please, thanks, bye". Got my hands on the yet-to-be-released Dark Angels upgrade Sprues... ohhh boy, they're awesome. Was deciding whether or not to get the Daemonhunters codex... or some new figs... or where my Tau army is at. Anyhow eventually got called by parents to go home, so made my way home, with the latest WD only =\
9th - Friday - At work and at home
- Woke up. Went to work for 5 hours.
- Came home. Bummed on computer.
10th - Saturday - At work and at home part two.
- Woke up. Went to work for 3 hours.
- Came home. Bummed on computer.
11th - Sunday - At work and at home part three.
- Woke up. Went to work for 0 hours.
- Already home. Bummed on computer.
Ok so I guess I've sent friday/sat attempting to organise a beach outing for next saturday, watched some prison break on friday, and stayed up late last night on msn.. and just on saturday night...:10th - Saturday - Continued.
- Went to C.W.P.S. Reunion for Class of 2000!
- Firstly, Shoutouts to Jono Haikim for organising the whole thing!
- I arrived there nearly an hour late... (7pm start.. didn't realise) - but after a while, there were about 33 people there at it's peak.
- Caught up with various people from my year 6 class and others... All these people who i've grown up with..
- Watched our Year 6 Farewell Video! omgness... embarrassing.. but funny =)
- Eat/Drink/Talk. FTW.
- Just off the top of my head... baulko people who went.. Kevin, Vivienne, Chris, Simone, Renee, David Kang, Eugene.... and non-baulkos (ok this needs referring to yearbook) - Kevin Cheong, Andrew Smith, Bennett Ong, Melissa Kuo, David Loon, Nicolette, Annabel, Jonothan Haikim, Jessica Charng?, Jamie Lee, Gina Sacilotto, William Haddad, Chris Warren, Jessica Yeow, Raymond Leung, Elyce Newton, Pranay Manilall, Raihan Rhaman, Matthew Oxenham.. and theres like.. 5 or so people i've missed.. =S...
I guess that's about all that's happened lately... pretty fun time in between working. /me needs more outings.
